Mental Health Prescribers Positions
Journey to Wellness Mental Health Services is actively seeking psychiatric nurse practitioners or psychiatrists who have experience in outpatient settings for part-time contract positions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Board certified Psychiatrist
2+ years of psychiatry experience
Ability to work at least 8 hours a week
Must live in Maryland
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to assess mental health conditions, including gathering medical history, performing mental status examinations, and diagnosing mental illnesses.
Treatment Planning: Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings, which may include medication management, therapy, and other interventions tailored to individual patient needs.
Medication Management: Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications, adjust dosages as needed, and educate patients about their medications, potential side effects, and interactions.
